TERMS & CONDITIONS
Perhentian Tropicana Inn (hereinafter referred to as “PTI” ) offers you part or all of the following services :
Accommodation, transportation and package, on terms and conditions hereinafter specified.
Room Rates and Packages
Room rates are for one room for one night (single or double occupancy) and may fluctuate according to daily demand and availability.
Booking must be for a minimum duration of two consecutive nights for weekends ( Fridays and Saturdays ), Eve of Public Holidays, Public Holidays and School Holidays.
Package rates are for per person for a group of two person minimum on share twin basis.
Room and Package rates are inclusive of service tax and charges or tax at prevailing rates and are payable in Ringgit Malaysia.
All the rates given are at the discretion of PTI, and may be revised at any time, upon PTI’s decision, without any prior notice. Seasonal variations apply. Package inclusions not used are not refundable. While every effort is made to ensure that information displayed on this website is correct, information and rates are subject to change without prior notice.
During peak season, (1st Mac to 30th September) 100% prepayment is required upon confirmation.
Cancellations for bookings are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
Accommodation is free of charge for up to two children under 4 years old, staying in the parents or guardian’s room using existing bedding.
For children between 4-11 years old, sharing the same room as their parents’ or guardians’ room and using the existing bedding: 50% discount on package price.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in time is from 2.00 pm and check-out time is at or before 11.00 am.
Upon check-in, guests are required to pay a refundable key deposit of RM 50.00 to cover loss or damage to each room key. The key deposit will be refunded to the guest when the key is returned to the front desk upon check-out.
For late departures upon check-out, we will be glad to store your luggage and make facilities available for you to freshen up.
Extension Of Stay
Extensions will require a new reservation for the additional date(s), subject to availability and prevailing rates and are subject to a possible rate change.
Rooms and Facilities
Towel, soap and shampoo are not provided in the budget rooms and dormitories. However, towel rental is available at the Front Desk. A towel rental fee is charged for each towel issued and additional rental fees are charged for each new towel. Upon collection of each towel, from the Front Desk, guests are required to pay a refundable towel deposit to cover loss or damaged of each towel issued. The towel deposit will be refunded to the guest when the towel is returned to the Front Desk.
Room cleaning takes place between 9.00am and 12.00 noon . If for any reason PTI housekeeping staff are unable to enter guests room during the first attempt, then cleaning will only take place on the next scheduled cleaning day.
Luggage storage is available for in-house guests or guests with future booking only. Before or after check-out, guests may store their personal belongings/ luggage in the luggage store room.
Safe Deposit boxes are available for in-house guest through the Front Desk for the convenience of the guests but any property deposited there is entirely at your own risk.
Our Responsibilities
Apart from the accommodation and services directly operated by PTI, we do not own or operate all of the accommodation, transport or other facilities used in connection with our packages.
PTI therefore cannot accept liability for negligence of the staff of these organisations. Perhentian Tropicana Inn make arrangement with Hotel partners, transportation company, local boats and other independent contractors to provide you with the travel arrangement you purchase. These parties are independent contractors over whom PTI has no direct control.
PTI is not liable in the event of any failure by any person or company to render any transportation, accommodation or other travel services to be provided or for expenses incurred due to delays caused by the weather, natural disasters, flight or transport delays, any act of God or any other circumstances beyond our control. Such expenses shall be borne by the guest.
Boat transfer is subject to weather conditions and PTI shall not be liable for compensation for any delay due to weather or any unforeseen circumstances.
PTI cannot be held responsible for any claims, losses, damages of baggage or other properties, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment , upset and disappointment, distress or frustrations, whether physically or mentally, resulting from any act or omission of any independent party providing services. PTI shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that the parties providing the services maintain standards which are acceptable within the norm.
In the unlikely event of a service being withdrawn by any of its suppliers. PTI shall have no responsibility beyond refunding all money paid by the guest.
PTI bears no responsibility for monies paid through travel agencies or other parties until cleared funds are received in the bank account of PTI or other authorised bank accounts.
Payment for reservation for PTI accommodation or packages shall constitute consent to all the provisions in the Terms and Conditions published herein.
Property room photos may not be specific to actual rooms allocated. Photos are indicative only. Accommodation facilities listed may not apply to all room types.
While we attempt to satisfy all special requests, we are unable to provide a guarantee.
We reserve the right of admission at all times.
Guests’ Responsibilities
Guest are requested to take due care of valuables such as jewellery, personal belongings and money.
Guests are advised to obtain travel insurance to cover curtailment, and loss of luggage, personal effects, damages, personal injuries and money/valuables belongings.
We expect our guests to conduct themselves in an orderly and adequate manner, and not to disrupt the enjoyment of other guests No excessive noise is permitted after 11pm.In the event of any distress, danger, or annoyance the misbehaving guest(s) cause to any of our guests, we reserve the right to terminate booking arrangements and evict the misbehaving guest(s) from our resort immediately. No refunds or redemption for accommodations, facilities or services will be made and we will not pay any expenses or costs incurred as a result of termination.
Guests are not allowed to bring to the rooms or the Resort area any kitchen utensils / equipment for heating and / or cooking purposes or portable BBQ pits or any electrical gadgets.
Guests are strictly advised to adhere to the above ruling failing which PTI reserves its absolute right to remove the items from the rooms immediately without further notice to the guests.
If the guest(s) fail to check out by the specified time, PTI reserves the right to remove the luggage and other belongings to the storage facility. PTI shall not be liable for any loss or damage to the guest(s) belongings during the removals.
General
PTI may at any time, without prior notice, cancel, revise, enhance, modify and or alter any of the Terms and Conditions.
PTI shall not be liable for loss or damage howsoever caused to any object, equipment or any other property brought into the premises.
In the unlikely event, that you have a problem during your stay, you must bring it to the attention of the resort management at the time to ensure that we have an opportunity to rectify the problem.
